Delayed Exit

I walked down to the bend

Looked up

Threw myself in

Shed my cares away

Let the water carry me

To the next place

At any pace

Woke up in the clouds

Cleared my head

Twirled awhile

Wrapped around the moon

Then set off

To the best space I could find

With the drug of an inverted mind

…And then the Sun reflected

Scorched the wind and

Settled the sea

Shined inside

The Sun got wise

And cooled the killing heat

About Seamus Gearin

Séamus once found a $100 bill and gave it to the first person who passed by. He's regretted it ever since.
