Central & Remote: December 6th-9th

It’s cold out. Really cold out. And we (well, me) keep getting fooled into thinking it’s not cold with the glorious sun and the blue skies and the chirping birds in the morning and then the weather’s all like OH!!!! I’mma give your cute little ears frostbite, you hatless idiot! Also, according to the urgency in the commercials and the way so many of us are avoiding malls, Christmas is apparently IMMINENT. So you all best be out there finding the cutest things ever at all the adorable little pop-up shops throughout our city (but let’s all also remember that we’re all suddenly minimalists who don’t believe in consumerism and want to ‘make’ presents for everyone on our list).

Do you realize that Christmas is less than 3 weeks away? Try knitting ten scarves in that time there, Crafty-McCrafterston! Why don’t you do yourself and those you gift to a favour and just go buy something from one of the crazy-prolific-talented local artists that have made it easy for you, hey?  Start it off at the Milk Glass Co. official opening reception tonight from 5-11pm. They have cards, home décor, clothing, accessories, and other excellent one-of-a-kind gifts. If you don’t make it out tonight with the booze and all the looking-at-other-sexy-art-lovers, they’re also giving out free hot chocolate while you shop until Dec 22nd.

About Lee-Anne Bigwood

Lee-Anne Bigwood is an observer and a participant of too many things in Toronto. She used to copy definitions out of the dictionary and has started, but not filled, almost as many journals as the number of years she’s been alive. She is an only child, an Aries, and an ENFP. She is perfectly aware, thank you, that referring to her astrological sign and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator makes her bio sound like a dating profile. [More on PP by Lee-Anne] [Lee-Anne's Blog]
