#Hashtag Gallery on Dundas is known for its ability to bring together unique works of art, people and fun. What’s almost more impressive is that they manage to pack it all into their tiny street front abode a few blocks down from Toronto Western Hospital.
Tonight marks the opening of their latest exhibit by Claudia Yarur and Jimmy Chiale. Claudia’s work is clearly inspired by nature while Jimmy very much by graffiti. Where the two artists intersect is in finding symmetry in chaos.
Opening Reception: Thursday 7:00-11:30pm
Exhibit Runs November 8th – 25th

Laughter Luau 8 – Winner Kills All | Hawaii Bar 989
Sometimes when you’re in the position of (potentially) influencing the public, you hawk your friends to them. That’s why I feel that you should see this show Friday night. Laughter Luau 8 features the comedy-stylings of PP’s own Matt Collins! He’s everyone’s favourite news commentator and possibly your least favoured band one. I’m not going to lie, I have no idea if any of the other comedians on the bill are any good. I’ve never even heard of the bar it’s happening at and I live in the neighbourhood. But what’s a good weekend without adventure? Oh right, and cheap drinks.
